I went into Elegance last week to get my hair cut and colored and my eyebrows waxed.  After a few hours, I was shocked to see how well they were able to turn my faded mixed of purple and blue into a beautiful rose gold.  When my roots didn't want to take originally, they were able to mix and apply the perfect color to balance out and tie together the whole look.  They also took Covid precautions seriously and I never felt nervous about being there in that regard.    As a side note, as a trans woman I get nerves about going to new salons because of how I might be viewed. My mom has gotten the Japanese straightening treatment done a few times over the past few years at Elegance and she is obsessed! Lilly does such a wonderful job with the treatment, the results are absolutely amazing! I have been coming here for several years and am never disappointed. Zohra always colors and styles my hair. Today I went to lighten the highlights. Tila shampooed and helped Zohra blow dry. I had thought I would get it much lighter, but I love the way it looks. Zohra explained that going as light as I wanted this time would damage my hair, that we should do it in stages. I appreciate that she always considers the health of my hair.  After I left, I shopped at a local store where everyone knows me and the employees were telling me how beautiful my hair looked! Zohra, Tila and Lily work  together as a team. It is a welcoming atmosphere and they are lovely people. I'm a teacher in the area and I was recommend to Elegance by a friend. Well, I have found my new salon. Zohra is absolutely wonderful! Something weird was going on with my hair after I went to a random stylist that I didn't know and my hair wasn't laying right, especially when it was in a ponytail. Zohra noticed the problem even before I said anything and fixed it within seconds. Now my hair lays perfectly when it's both down and in a ponytail. She's very sweet and easy to talk to. I haven't gone to her for coloring yet, but if I do, I'll post an update. I hear great things about her coloring skills though. Plus, I think her prices are more than reasonable. Zora is an incredible hair stylist. I started going to her a couple of months ago when I needed a bang cut. She is an absolute professional and knows exactly how to cut/style bangs to look GREAT. I received so many compliments. I am so happy that I went to her.  Zora is now the only stylist I will ever go to. Before I started going to Zora, I had a horrendous hair cut from my previous salon (I won't say names). I was in tears and called Zora who fit me in immediately. She was able to fix my hair and now it's super cute and stylish. She knows exactly what she is doing and how to cut hair in a way that will compliment your face.   Not only is she an incredibly talented hair stylist, but she will listen to what you want. However, I would trust her to cut my hair in any way because she is that good! I can't speak more highly of Zora. She's friendly, professional, and has so much experience that she really knows how to cut hair that left me feeling amazing. I came to Elegance as a client of mine had a beautiful hair cut. Her highlights were really lovely as well, but at the time I was only interested in getting a good cut as my former hair stylist was not consistent. I scheduled with Zohra who had cut my client's hair and I absolutely loved my new cut. I followed her recommendations for styling and care and have been very happy with the results. I was still coloring on my own, but not pleased with it as it was always coming out too dark. Zohra had suggested highlighting and I was very nervous about it, but finally decided to try it. She did a superb job, giving me subtle highlights that took years off me! My husband and son love it and friends have commented positively on the change. Zohra is extremely knowledgeable about hair and how to style it. She also has the design ability to see what works best for each customer. She will never recommend any change that will not look good on you. She is a dream and I am so happy I have found her!
